Summer 2017

Techo Tuesdays

Techo Tuesdays is a combination of fun technology training workshops all occurring on a...Tuesday! Here is a rundown of the schedule:
  • Morning workshop from 8-11 am
  • Taco (techo) carry-in lunch from 11 am-12 pm
  • Afternoon workshop from 12:00-3:00 pm
Participants can choose a morning, afternoon, or both sessions. With any of the three choices, the participants are welcome to be a part of the taco carry-in lunch. Once attendance to the workshop is confirmed, a sign-up sheet for taco carry-in items will be sent at least a week prior of the workshop date. Items will consist of cheese, taco shells, salsa, etc. I will take care of at least one taco meat (depending upon the participation.)

Each workshop qualifies for three professional growth points.

The one exception to the pattern is the Super Communicator workshop. It is an all-day workshop for a total of six professional growth points. The taco lunch will break up the day from 11:00-12:00.

Please peruse the slide deck below to view workshop opportunities. There is also a calendar agenda below that contains all summer professional development opportunities.

Mind-Blowing Meet-Ups

Meet sessions are all online. These sessions should take less than a half hour. It is a quick overview or tip on how to utilize a tool. For each date, there is a Meet session at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, and 1:00 pm. Upon signing up, you were receive an invitation via Google Calendar. The link to participate will be contained in the calendar event.

It is recommended you have more than one device for this event. One for viewing and one for participating. If this is not possible, it isn't a disqualification. Your participation will be more limited. There is an Android and iOS app for Google Meet if you prefer to view from a mobile device (phone or tablet).

Please see the slide deck below for a list of dates.
